    Insert a code into Word

    1. Generate DOC-208 or enter your own identifier above. Choose Code 128 for internal alphanumeric references.
    2. Download PNG for broad Word compatibility, or SVG if your desktop Word version supports it. The PNG download is rasterized at three times the SVG pixel size.
    3. In Word, choose Insert > Pictures, select the file and keep “Lock aspect ratio” enabled. Do not crop the white quiet zones. Print at 100% and test with your scanner.

    Word may rescale an inserted image; check the physical label width after insertion. For retail numbers, use only an identifier assigned to you by GS1.
